Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 September 2026 Version 1.1

NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC is the data controller for Lodestar. The company, not the product, is the legal person responsible for the personal data described below, and it can be reached at .

This policy is written in plain language on purpose. It describes what Lodestar does today, not what it might do later.

1. Who we are

NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC operates lodestarfit.com and publishes Lodestar. For any question about privacy, personal data, or this policy, write to .

2. What we collect

That is the whole list. Lodestar does not ask for anything it does not use.

3. What we do not collect

4. How it is used

To provide the service: to compute your rank, build and adjust your programme, keep your history, and sync your account between your own devices.

Your data is not sold. It is not shared for advertising. It is not used for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

5. The legal basis for using it

Data protection law in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area requires a company to name the legal ground it relies on for each use of personal data. Ours are these.

Lodestar does not process personal data for advertising, for sale, or for building a profile of you. There is no legal basis claimed for any of those because none of them happen.

6. Artificial intelligence

No user data is sent to any AI system. Not for training, not for inference, not for analysis, not in an anonymised or aggregated form, and not to any third-party model provider.

This is a standing commitment rather than a current configuration. It is published here so that it is something you can hold the company to, and changing it would require changing this document and telling you.

7. Where it is stored

Your training data is stored on your device, which is why the app works without a connection. A copy is stored on our infrastructure provider's servers so your account can sync between devices and survive losing a phone. Access to that copy is restricted to your own account.

Our infrastructure provider stores that copy in the United States. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area and your data is held outside it, that transfer is made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which is the mechanism our provider offers for exactly this purpose. You can ask us for the details.

8. How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Lodestar has no interest in holding the training history of somebody who has left.

When you delete your account, the account and the data held against it are removed from our live systems immediately. Encrypted backups roll forward on their own schedule, and any residual copy is gone within 30 days. Deletion is not reversible and there is no recovery window, which is why the app tells you to export first.

Correspondence you send to support is kept for as long as it takes to deal with it and for a short period afterwards, in case you write again about the same thing.

9. Your rights

Over the personal data held about you, you have the right to:

Account deletion is available inside the app. It removes the account and the data held against it. It is a deletion rather than a deactivation, so export anything you want to keep before you use it. For an export or any request the app does not cover, write to .

Exercising any of these costs nothing, and we answer within one month. If a request is genuinely complicated we may take longer, and if we do, we will tell you why inside that first month rather than going quiet.

10. Children

The minimum age for a Lodestar account is 13. Users aged 13 to 17 require verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. Lodestar is not intended for, and accounts may not be created by, anyone under 13.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, it is deleted along with its data. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has created an account should write to the address above.

11. Changes to this policy

This is version 1.1. When the policy changes, the version number and the last-updated date at the top of this page change with it, and the current version is always published here.

Where a change materially affects how personal data is handled, account holders are told directly by email before it takes effect rather than being left to notice a new date on a page.

12. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area

The data controller is NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Georgia, United States, reachable at .

The legal bases we rely on are set out in section 5, how long data is kept is in section 8, and your rights are in section 9. Those sections apply to everyone; this one exists to say plainly what UK and European law adds.

You can complain to a regulator. If you think your data has been handled wrongly we would rather you told us first, at the address above, because most things are quicker to fix directly. But you do not have to, and your right to complain does not depend on asking us. You can go to the data protection authority in the country where you live, where you work, or where you think the problem happened. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Automated decisions. Lodestar computes your rank and builds your programme automatically, from the training data you enter and published strength standards. Those calculations produce a training suggestion and a position on a ladder. They have no legal effect on you and nothing about them is hidden: the app shows the standard behind every number and the reasoning behind every recommendation.

13. Contact

Privacy questions, data requests and complaints: , or by telephone on . Postal correspondence to NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC can be arranged by writing to the same address.
