Terms of Service

Last updated 4 September 2026 Version 1.0

These terms govern your use of Lodestar. Using the app means you accept them. They are written to be read, so please read the health and safety section in particular.

1. Who provides the service

Lodestar is provided by NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Georgia. In these terms, "we" and "the company" mean NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC, and "the service" means the Lodestar application and this website.

2. Health and safety

Training with weights carries a risk of injury. That risk is real and it does not disappear because a programme was generated by software.

Lodestar provides information and programming suggestions. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a physician, a physiotherapist or a qualified coach. Nothing in the app diagnoses a condition, treats one, or knows anything about your medical history beyond what you have typed into it.

You should consult a physician before beginning any training programme, and particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an injury or surgery, or are experiencing symptoms such as chest pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

You are responsible for your own training decisions. That includes judging whether you are ready for a given load, whether your technique is sound, whether the equipment is safe, and whether to use a spotter. A prescribed weight is a suggestion based on the numbers you have entered, and the app cannot see you, your form, or how you slept.

Stop if something hurts. Pain during a lift is information, and no session, streak or rank is worth working through it. Seek medical attention for an injury.

3. Accounts

An account belongs to one person. Do not share your account or your credentials, and do not use somebody else's.

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are between 13 and 17, you need verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, and they accept these terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed by somebody else.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service for your own training. Do not attempt to break into it, disrupt it, scrape it, reverse-engineer it, resell access to it, or use it to store or transmit anything unlawful. Do not use it in a way that interferes with anybody else's use of it.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.

5. Your content

Your training data is yours. You keep every right you have in it, and we do not claim ownership of it.

You grant the company the limited permission it needs to store, process and display that data in order to run the service for you: to compute your rank, build your programme, and sync your account between your devices. Nothing beyond that. How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, including the commitment that no user data is sent to any AI system.

6. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, text, the Lodestar name and mark, and the ranking system, belongs to NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC and is protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app. They transfer nothing else.

The published research the app draws on belongs to its own authors and publishers, and is cited rather than claimed.

7. The service is provided as-is

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent the law allows, the company makes no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

In particular, ranks, estimated one-rep maxes and programming suggestions are calculated estimates. They are derived from published standards and from the data you enter, and they are not guarantees of your capability on any given day.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising out of your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time, and you may delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, or where we stop providing the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law, survive it.

10. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the version number and the last-updated date at the top of this page change with them. Where a change is material, account holders are told by email before it takes effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in Georgia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
